What this is

Guyana's premier national transportation and safety summit.

Vehicle numbers on Guyana's roads have grown faster than the systems built to keep them safe. Beyond the Wheels 2.0 is the Guyana transportation conference where road safety, fleet management, logistics, defensive driving standards, and chauffeur training all sit at the same table, in one venue, across two days, with the people who actually move the country and the people who are supposed to protect those who do.

The Summit is hosted by Clarke's Productions Inc. (CPI), a Georgetown-based training and consultancy organisation with more than two decades of work building professionalism, leadership, and competency-based education across Guyanese industry. CPI brings the Summit a delivery backbone rooted in classroom rigour, partnership management, and the public commitment to develop people, not just programmes.

The format draws structural inspiration from the Lifesavers Conference on Roadway Safety in the United States and the executive forums of the World Economic Forum, adapted to the realities of Caribbean and Latin American transportation and road safety.

01 · Transportation & Safety Tracks

Nine tracks. One mission: safer roads for Guyana.

The Summit organises transportation, fleet management, and road safety around nine working tracks. Every session, panel, and roundtable maps to one. Pick the tracks that match your role and follow them across both days.

Track 01
Road Safety, Driver Dignity & Defensive Driving
The human side of safer roads. Driver mental health, professional standards, defensive driving, dignity at work.
Track 02
Fleet Modernization & Fleet Management
Telematics, electrification, predictive maintenance, fleet management practice, the technology stack of the modern fleet.
Track 03
Logistics & Trade Corridors
Regional supply chains, port-to-interior routes, Guyana's role in the Caribbean trade map.
Track 04
Infrastructure Readiness
Roads, bridges, traffic management. What we have, what we need, what gets built next.
Track 05
Regulatory Reform
Licensing, enforcement, the policy levers that make safer roads possible.
Track 06
Insurance & Risk
Pricing, fraud, the financial architecture behind every vehicle on the road.
Track 07
Mental Health Behind the Wheel
Fatigue, stress, addiction, the invisible cost of long hours on the road.
Track 08
Corporate Responsibility
What private sector leadership looks like when public infrastructure is still catching up.
Track 09
Economic Growth & Mobility
Transport as the backbone of economic transformation. GDP, jobs, regional integration.

We are confirming a speaker lineup from across Guyana, the wider Caribbean, and international road safety authorities. Full lineup announced September 15.

05 · The Convenor

Convened by Clarke's Productions Inc.

Trusted by the largest businesses and public sector organisations in Guyana and the Caribbean.

A leading National Safety Council member and one of the region's most established training, development, and consultancy institutions, Clarke's Productions Inc. (CPI) brings more than two decades of safety and professional standards to the Summit.

From its Training Institute in Georgetown, CPI has built the skills that keep people safe and organisations professional: defensive driving, driver-salesman certification, First Aid and CPR, customer experience, and leadership, delivered to industry, government, and the public sector alike.

As a member of the National Safety Council, CPI works at the front line of workplace and road safety culture in the Caribbean, turning safety from a slogan into a measured, teachable discipline. That is the authority behind Beyond the Wheels 2.0. CPI does not simply host the Summit. It convenes the country's operators, regulators, and industry leaders around a single standard, the same standard it has spent over two decades teaching.

"Safer roads are built the same way safer workplaces are: one trained, respected professional at a time. Beyond the Wheels is where Guyana makes that commitment together."

07 · Sponsorship

Stand with the institutions making Guyana's roads safer.

Sponsorship at Beyond the Wheels 2.0 is not logo placement. It is a public stake in Guyana's road safety future. Four tiers. One stage.

Reach the room that decides

Brand visibility before government officials, policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders — gathered in one place for two days.

Strengthen your ESG story

A public commitment to road safety is a measurable Corporate Social Responsibility stake, not a line item.

Own a category

Position your organisation as a thought leader in innovation, sustainability, and responsible development.

Build the relationships that matter

Direct access to key decision-makers and strategic partners across Guyana's transportation sector.

Earn the media

Targeted exposure through event promotion, digital campaigns, and national press coverage before, during, and after.

Lead where it counts

Road safety drives workforce productivity, business continuity, and logistics. Align your name with Guyana's Vision Zero and the UN goal to halve road deaths by 2030.

08 · Get involved

09 · The 2025 effect

From last year's delegates.

Voices from the 2025 Business Luncheon, the smaller predecessor event that confirmed the country's appetite for a serious national conversation on road safety.

On May 20, 2025, Clarke's Productions Inc., in collaboration with the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association, convened a business luncheon under the Beyond the Wheels banner — an event the GMSA would record in its 2025 Annual Report as a response to the rise in traffic-related fatalities and truck-related accidents. It was a smaller room than October's. It changed the register of the conversation.

"The seriousness in the room was unmistakable. This was not networking; it was road safety policy in motion."

"For the first time, the driver was the protagonist of the conversation — not the subject of it."

"It was the first event in years where the people who drive the trucks sat in the same room as the people who write the policy."

A single luncheon proved the country wanted the conversation. Beyond the Wheels 2.0 is how it continues — bigger, on the record, and built to produce commitments, not just consensus.

10 · Professional Driving Pathway
PTO
Programme.

A professional driving culture, built one operator at a time.

The Professional Transport Operator (PTO) Programme is the Summit's pathway from awareness to qualification. Every delegate who finishes the Summit can opt into a structured route that runs from defensive driving fundamentals through chauffeur training, fleet management practice, and a competency-based credential aligned with Caribbean Vocational Qualifications.

PTO is delivered by Clarke's Productions Inc. (CPI), the Summit's host organisation, in partnership with Guyanese transport operators, regulators, and corporate sponsors. The objective is plain: lift the professional standard of the people behind the wheel until "professional driver" means the same thing in Georgetown as it does in any modern transportation economy.
